Finally…the perfect tree!
There are two of these wine bottle Christmas trees in the courtyards of The Berardo Museum (Museu Colecção Berardo) in Belém, Portugal. I love this museum.
The Berardo has a thoughtful, well-curated, extensive collection of contemporary art with a large amount of space for revolving shows. The museum is free (what? WOOT!) and defines itself as “…open to the future and open to the public. ”
I’m going to tell you more about some places (and food!) in Portugal in a future post. Today I want to wish you happy holidays from a whole bunch of places. It’s like we’re going for a drive around the neighborhood to check out the shimmery lights.

For some reason seeing the Santacon Santas makes me remember the Santas on boats that parade through the Fells Point part of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor each December – I don’t know if they still do it but we used to love to go watch that from the docks every year! Lots of Ho Ho Ho Hon…
