Renovating is like cooking. Sometimes you gotta boil down to the bones.
Choose a bold flavor and go with it.
And then…….hmmm……I really wanted to say season to taste but I think we’re going to need some appliances. We’ve been making soup with no heat so far.
I guess we’re in the vichyssoise zone of renovating, huh? Gazpacho is more accurate.
Hope you don’t have your napkin tucked under your chin or anything like that.
The kitchen will be open again soon and the fat pig will be off to market.
Look out you rock ‘n rollers.

I love your new kitchen. Your dad didn’t quite understand your website.
He’s starting to learn. Wishing you continued success.
Heh, heh, heh… Lookin’ good, kitchen. I’d ask those blue lamps to slow dance, they are so suave and just electric-cool!
I am back in NY state at our house and plan on testing some Fat Pig recipes pronto. First up to bat: bright basil dressing. Or maybe the marshmallow capped cupcakes. Or the tiny quiche….???…. (It’s good to have a kitchen again. )
The kitchen is looking sooooo fabulous! Just in time for all the spring goodies out there: asparagus, sorrel, ramps! Bring it on!
